October 15th, 2022 by

Here at Kearny Mesa Hyundai, the 2023 models of all our favorite Hyundai cars continue to roll onto our lot. One of the newest arrivals is the 2023 Hyundai Sonata. Now that we have gotten the opportunity to get behind the wheel of this new Hyundai sedan, we can share that it boasts bold design cues, futuristic tech and safety features, and the model’s most powerful engine to date.

The Most Powerful Hyundai Sonata Yet

When you check out the Hyundai Sonata from our San Diego Hyundai dealership, you’ll have a choice between eight different trim levels and either a gasoline or a hybrid powertrain. The base gasoline engine is a zippy 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes a formidable 180 horsepower.

Moving up to the powerful N Trim, you’ll find the most powerful Hyundai Sonata powertrain to date. This engine is a 290-horsepower turbocharged MPI/GDI four-cylinder that is matched to a smooth N eight-speed Wet Dual Clutch Transmission with paddle shifters.

Efficiency-minded drivers will want to experience the hybrid Blue trim, which features a 192-horsepower hybrid powertrain that offers impressive fuel efficiency.

Keeping You Connected

With the advanced technology in the 2023 Hyundai Sonata, your smartphone can do the same things as your key fob, like unlocking your car and starting the engine. This feature is called Hyundai Digital Key, and nothing similar is available on the sedan’s competitors.

Plus, connect your smartphone to the car’s in-cabin entertainment system with standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto, which allow you to access your favorite playlists, directions, and certain infotainment features without taking your eyes off the road.

We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of all the advanced features included with the 2023 Hyundai Sonata. Discover the rest for yourself here at Kearny Mesa Hyundai.
