Power and Performance

The powertrain of the Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell consists of a 95-kW fuel-cell stack, a 40-kWh battery pack power, and an electric motor. Together these produce 161 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. A one-speed transmission is standard in this new Hyundai vehicle as is front-wheel drive.

The Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell has very good acceleration, and it can go from zero to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds. And thanks to well-tuned steering, it provides great handling.

Fuel Economy

The Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell has two trims: Blue and Limited. Filling up this Hyundai SUV at a hydrogen station only takes about five minutes. And once your tank is full, you’ll be able to travel up to 380 miles with the Blue trim, while the Limited trim can go up to 354 miles.

Up to five people will fit very comfortably in the Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell, and both rows offer a lot of space. Power-adjustable front seats and vinyl upholstery are standard. You will have a lot of cargo room to work with: 29.6 cubic feet behind the back row and 56.5 cubic feet when it’s folded.

A user-friendly infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, as are Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. Two USB ports and a wireless charging pad are also standard. Hyundai’s Blue Link app is complimentary for the first three years, and this includes remote engine starting and a hydrogen-fuel station locator.

The Hyundai NEXO Fuel Cell comes well-equipped with advanced safety features, which include:
