Holes for Heroes

For the past eleven years, Holes for Heroes® has presented very special Military Appreciation events for the purpose of saluting, thanking and supporting our Wounded and Recovering military Heroes, Front-lined based troops, Children and families of deployed troops and KIAs and Recovering Vets.

Some 350 wounded and combat veteran heroes and family members have attended Holes for Heroes® Military Appreciation events providing them a fabulous day of golf, friendship, recognition and a unique opportunity for the participants and community-at-large to say, “Thank You” – up close and personal.

The Holes for Heroes® Military Appreciation event was founded on the premise that the community wants to help and say, “Thank you” to our troops, but don’t know how or whom to trust.

Holes for Heroes® Military Appreciation events provide that trusted opportunity for the Community to:

• Help ease the pain of our physically wounded warriors at Balboa Hospital and sufferers of ‘PTSD’ via the ASYMCA – Naval Medical Center
• Support front line troops, our local military families and the children of deployed warriors via Operation CareGiver, Homefront SD, Camp Pendleton ASYMCA & Operation “BIGS”
• Assist Veterans Village of San Diego in its efforts to help San Diego’s homeless and recovering Vets
• Remember the children and families of our fallen Military Heroes via Guide On
• Support other military & humanitarian projects via the San Diego Breakfast Rotary Foundation

Holes for Heroes® Military Appreciation events are recognized as one of San Diego’s most rewarding and popular military Appreciation events because we are 100% all volunteer, no salaries, no paid staff, no fixed overhead, ensuring 100% of our proceeds go to our beneficiary charities.
