Very good customer service. I had a 10 am appointment for my first oil change. When i arrivedi received a very nice greeting from Marcus. Andrea then assisted me with getting my car in for the oil chsnge. Andrea was very friendly and answered all my questions. I went to the waiting room and 2 hours and 45 minutes later i received a text letting me know my car was ready.

Overall, service reps Derek and Isaac were super courteous and communicative. I had a bumpy start as I was surprised to learn I needed to provide details of insurance coverage (beyond proof of coverage) prior receiving a loaner car. In 40 years of renting cars I’ve never been asked for detail of coverage. Suggest giving customers a heads up prior to picking up the car. Hyundai ordered me a Lyft to and from work in lieu if the loaner, so all good in the end. Lounge/ waiting area is very comfy!

My wife and I visited Kearny Mesa Hyundai dealership, with the intention of looking at the Pallisade model. Sales members were really kind by letting us see one of those almost as soon as we got there. Unfortunately, the Pallisade base model was not available at that moment. The initial sales people were fine. The sales manager was very impatient and also overcharged and didn’t disclose that it was a demo unit. In addition when directly asked if it was a demo or loaner car he said not. First thing In the finance office, is you understand that this is a demo car?? Laughable in a joke of a dealership buyer beware very next morning and found exact same car for 10 to 15% less

No. Your time and money are definitely better spent elsewhere. They are backlogged even with an appointment and just want to squeeze as much money out of people as possible. They refused to do necessary maintenance under warranty unless I paid thousands for unnecessary procedures. So shady. Just no.

Dropped my car off as a Walk-In around 1:30 PM. Never heard from the dealership until I called repeatedly, and just the service line instead of my service advisor, the next day at 4:30 PM. I had left 3 voicemails (12:30, 2:30, 3:30) with no response.

To diagnose my car they took more than two weeks. I had to rent a car to commute to work that costed me more than $1400. The diagnosis itself costed about $167! Very unfortunate that they kept my car for a long time just to find out that the knock sensor was the cause, which was quite clear from symptoms in the beginning. Totally disappointing service. While employee was communicating well, they didn’t assign technicians on the car until after around 10 days from drop off.

Service after the sale is an understatement! I purchased my certified Ioniq 5 with 8500 miles on it from Kearney Mesa Hyundai.. Unbeknownst to anybody, it had an electrical problem that could not be diagnosed without taking the front bumper off. Consequently, I started having intermittent issues about a month later. Thinking that this was a warranty problem. I took it to the nearest Hyundai service center, and they could not duplicate the problem for three visits in four months. Finally after the 4th service they figured out the problem At which point the charge was going to be $3000 to correct it. ...

Dishonesty, 7-10 days for service to charge battery. Not told this when I Left car there. Refused to allow me to transport replacement battery to El cajon dealership who could help me same day.

Helped me reschedule my appointment for a safety recall from May to January. I made the May appointment not real thinking it was January so I appreciated the help getting it rescheduled as it was a safety issue. The service tech that helped me at my appointment was great. Scheduled an Uber to take me home with no problem and when he called the next day to tell me my car is ready. He said a car to pick me up as I had no way to get to the dealership so thanks everyone.

Service was a challenge at Kearny Mesa Hyundai. I had a 10:30 am appointment and was on time. The service advisor notified me of a staffing shortage and that my car would be ready between 1:30 and 2 pm. This worked fine for my schedule. I returned to the service center at 1:40 pm and waited over an hour for my vehicle. My service was a simple oil change and inspection. Tire rotation was refused as not needed which should have saved time and made things easier and faster. Even more concerning than timing issues was my vehicle panic alert being set off 4 times ...

Took car in for a check when Tire pressure light came on. The gentleman at the desk checked me in, they kept the car to check for any leaks- without an appointment, estimated wait was a couple hours. I took them up on ride service home. Got the car back as promised, everything was organized & efficient.

The service department serviced my car quickly and gave me a detailed report of what they did. Brittany was especially helpful. She arranged car service rides so I could be at home while they serviced the car. This was one of the best experiences I have had with any car service departments.

Had a 3rd oil service today for a Santa fe we bought there. Nick helped us check and ensure the service. I've had mixed feelings about this place after 1st visit, but the next 2 times have been an under promise/over deliver scenario. I did see my dash stating I still need to service my vehicle after leaving, so I'm slightly apprehensive as they spaced reseting it ( which opens the speculation of spacing other things). So I'll have to figure that out. Otherwise, the check-in and out was pleasant and quick. This will be an ever evolving ...

The experience went smoothly without sales pitch pressure. I bought an EV. The charging cord should come with the vehicle as a standard practice, but I had to ask for one once I got home.

Our salesperson Hassan was exceptional and so was his sales manager. They made it so easy and a very pleasurable experience. Hassan gave us the Finance Application in advance so that we could bring it back the next day all filled out when we were to take delivery of the car. Only took about 30 minutes and 30 minutes inside the car going over everything. Finance was not so pleasurable since they kept trying to sell us things on top of the car and finance purchase.
