Took car in for a check when Tire pressure light came on. The gentleman at the desk checked me in, they kept the car to check for any leaks- without an appointment, estimated wait was a couple hours. I took them up on ride service home. Got the car back as promised, everything was organized & efficient.

Had a 3rd oil service today for a Santa fe we bought there. Nick helped us check and ensure the service. I've had mixed feelings about this place after 1st visit, but the next 2 times have been an under promise/over deliver scenario. I did see my dash stating I still need to service my vehicle after leaving, so I'm slightly apprehensive as they spaced reseting it ( which opens the speculation of spacing other things). So I'll have to figure that out. Otherwise, the check-in and out was pleasant and quick. This will be an ever evolving ...

The experience went smoothly without sales pitch pressure. I bought an EV. The charging cord should come with the vehicle as a standard practice, but I had to ask for one once I got home.

Our salesperson Hassan was exceptional and so was his sales manager. They made it so easy and a very pleasurable experience. Hassan gave us the Finance Application in advance so that we could bring it back the next day all filled out when we were to take delivery of the car. Only took about 30 minutes and 30 minutes inside the car going over everything. Finance was not so pleasurable since they kept trying to sell us things on top of the car and finance purchase.

The trade in appraisal was way below what I excepted. Another Hyundai dealership a few towns over offered $6,500 more than what Kearney Mesa offered. I feel like I was cheated because after receiving an offer from Car Maxx that was $4,000 more than Kearney Mesa, I was then offered a price match to Car Max. I wasn't pleased at all with the value of my trade in, nor the process. I felt like I had to prove to the dealership the honest value of my vehicle.
Came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, happy with the service. I was in and out within the time frame specified. Derek was my service writer, friendly, helpful and professional, did a great job!
Derek Evaluated my vehicle and took care of the concerns at a timely matter, other dealerships could not find and had a long wait of 4 days minimum, Derek made sure my car was completed and never had an issue at all, this will be my dealership moving forward.

The experience with the sales and finance staff was great! My only disappointment is when I drove the car home Friday night from the dealer, the tire pressure on the Ioniq 5 was at 29 psi instead of the recommended 38 psi. I took care of it with my portable compressor at home.

I like the dealership as a whole but if I could suggest one thing that would make it even better it would be response time when I arrived. I sat for 15-20 minutes before anyone came to my window. Derek seemed to be a one man show. He was awesome but he could have used some help.

Lead Service Advisor, Nick Stutzman explained everything in great detail. Plus he let me know that the repainting of my hood would be paid by Hyundai. But if I wanted the roof to be repainted I would have to pay for that myself. I will return to Kearny Mesa Hyundai on Monday, July 15th. to drop off my 2018 Hyundai Sonata Limited, Ultimate Edition to have the repainting done. I spoke too Evelyn at Sunroad Collision. Brooke in Finance is often as always. He works hard to make something happen for his customers. He has been apart of three transactions with the dealership. Our Service Advisor, Sean Taylor communicated effectively and set the right expectations for our experience at the dealership. We did discover there is a little more work need to be done when it comes to being transparent and thorough in some aspects of service. When George called and scheduled us in, he was originally going to set us up in a loaner.
